The 18 rooms at the Riverview are all on the small side, but they're cozy and attractive, with elegant wallpaper or handsome wood paneling. Iron Spa bedding was so comfortable. The Halifax Historical Museum has been housed in the old Merchant's Bank Building since 1986. The rooms and bathrooms could use a little update though. The bed was a bit soft for our taste, but otherwise comfortable. All allergy-free rooms feature free Wi-Fi, a flat-screen cable TV, and a desk at the Riverview Hotel. The hotel staff was VERY, very nice.
